About Emily

Art has been my passion since I was young. I am a self taught artist who loves to experiment with different medias, techniques and processes. Outside of art, I love hanging out with friends, traveling and exploring new places, and staying active. I LOVE a good coffee, and you will never catch me saying no. I am deeply rooted in my faith in God and Jesus Christ. I love the Lord, and love spreading his steadfast love to all!

My Process

Art has been my escape for the longest time. Unlike my straightforward nature, my art is very free-flowing. I usually never have a plan, only a vision. I let whatever happens along the way, usually lots of mistakes, guide and shape my works. I've learned that mistakes on top of mistakes is what truly gives my pieces character. Without them, nothing would be complete. I let my hands create without a strict plan or timeline, which usually results in the revelation of my subconscious.

My Vision

I have always hoped to inspire others through my unique insight into the world around me through my art. Recently, I have found a new way to worship the Lord. Through my art, I transform Scripture into visuals based on my own interpretations and experiences. I am guided by God's light and how He has transformed my life. Through my many trials, God has never failed me, and I hope to share that with others.

My work is loose, expressive, and free-flowing, allowing my emotions and faith to guide each piece. My works of the Lord reflect how He has guided and saved me, while also showing the vulnerability of my own faith journey. By sharing my art through prints, I hope to bring these messages beyond my own canvas and into the lives of others. I hope to remind people of God's glory, His faithfulness, and how great He is through my art. Though some of my works may be imperfect, I know that so am I. No one is as perfect as the Lord, and I believe that this vulnerability is what makes my work meaningful.
